Family Pumpkin Patch Trip

Early in October the whole family took a trip to our local pumpkin patch in town. They have the usual pumpkin patch attractions: pumpkins and other gourds, corn field, wagons, corn box (like a sand box but with corn kernels), hay maze, farm animals, and an extremely bumpy but very fun cow roller coaster-type ride. It was a fun day out with a lot of opportunity to get out some energy and play like crazy. A perfect way to kick off the Halloween and Harvest season!

Spontaneous sibling harmony as we were walking into the patch. I could count on one hand the number of times they have all held hands like this. So precious, all the more so because it was such a rare treat and they did it all on their own.

The patch was chock full of great pumpkins. Sammy couldn't decide which one he wanted!

Found a couple! The girls were barely able to lift the one they went home with; such a huge pumpkin!

Running through the rows.

Our sweet goofballs.

The whole gang down on the farm.

Tallest girl.

Getting so big!

Half pint but catching up fast.

Halloween costume preview for Annabel: a cheerleader. This fits her to a T!

Lucy's preview: a '50s girl, complete with saddle shoes.

Sammy's preview: a knight. The attraction was most definitely the sword.
