Mark's Visit to California

Paul's brother, Mark, stopped in for a few days following a work conference in Arizona before heading back to England. It was his first trip to America and his first time meeting Annabel and Sammy. We enjoyed cooking out in our back yard with lots of playtime the first day. The next day we took him to San Francisco to see North Beach, Coit Tower, Lombard Street, Crissy Field, the Golden Gate Bridge, Baker Beach and finally Ocean Beach. It was a whirlwind trip! Also that day, we had a really nice meal at the bocce ball place in town, and later on we went to a local winery where the guys did some tasting. It was wonderful to spend time with him, and the kids loved their Uncle Mark. He's great with kids so it's no surprise, but what a great thing that they became so attached so quickly. We all hope he comes back soon or that we can see everyone back in England before too long.

Cowboy mural at Coit Tower. Love this one. The murals were part of the Public Works of Art Project, 1933.

Farmer mural.

A beautiful mural depicting California's agricultural industry.

Early dinner at Campo di Bocce.

Wine tasting at the Underdog.

It was a really windy day, but that didn't stop the kids from running around the lawns surrounding the winery.
